Pneumatic displacer transmitter APM Modulevel® utilizes buoyancy force acting on immersed displacer in the liquid to detect and convert liquid level changes to proportional pneumatic signal output.

Operating principle is based on conversion buoyancy force of medium during level change to linear movement of displacer which due to magnetic coupling is converted then to rotary movement of mechanism which regulates proportionally pressure in the pneumatic system.

Typical applications for pneumatic displacer transmitter are feedwater heaters, steam drums, deaerators and hot wells.
