The Chauvin Arnoux L461 1500V Solar PV Voltage Datalogger is designed to accurately track AC and DC voltages in photovoltaic (PV) installations and other high-voltage environments. It features a single measurement channel that is capable of measuring voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500V AC, providing a reliable and safe solution for analysing system performance, detecting anomalies, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

The L461 is well-suited for detecting intermittent electrical issues, recording current requirements to improve system functionality, and adjusting current transformer sizing to ensure accurate metering. Its automatic time stamping and intuitive data retrieval feature simplify complex analysis, making it easy for users to visualise recorded measurements either graphically or in tabular format, as well as export them to Excel. The included software allows for real-time monitoring of measurements, device configuration, and secure access management, resulting in precise control and flexible operation.

When it comes to connectivity, the L461 has two Wi-Fi operating modes for versatile communication. It can be integrated into a company’s network via a server, accessed directly from a PC or smartphone, or connected through USB. The IRD DataView® Synch secure server allows users to remotely access data from anywhere in the world. Its embedded web server is compatible with Android and iOS platforms, providing convenient real-time display, trend recording, and device configuration using any standard web browser.

The L461 includes a backlit LCD display, 8 GB of internal memory, and a one-second acquisition speed. It has a battery life that lasts up to three days without Wi-Fi, and an IP54 protection rating, CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V / CAT III 1500V DC electrical safety, and an optional shockproof sheath for reliable operation in demanding conditions.
