HEPA Air Filtration

Our HEPA Air filtration systems are designed to capture and remove smoke, particulates, fumes, and VOCs from extrusion and injection molding thermal tool cleaning operations. These systems can be used for any operation to capture fine dust, welding smoke, paint fumes, and other process by-products. The HEPA filtration system contains a prefilter, a HEPA filter rated at 99.97% efficiency down to 0.3uM, and a sizeable volume of activated carbon for capturing odors and VOCs.

Model ECU1 and Model ECU2

Accurate Thermal System’s Model ECU1 and ECU2 are mobile HEPA air filtration systems. The ECU1 is recommended for light to moderate-duty smoke and fume capture applications, and the ECU2 for moderate to heavy-duty use. These filtration systems include a prefilter that is 90% efficient at 3-10 uM, a HEPA filter that is 99.97% efficient at 0.3 uM, and up to 80 pounds of activated carbon for capturing odor and VOCs. All filters are easily accessible for inspection and replacement via the main panel door. This system contains an electronic filter monitor with a status indicator to advise when filters require replacement.

The ECU1 and ECU2 are excellent choices for extrusion and injection molding tool cleaning operations and other industrial environments where smoke and fumes must be captured. In manufacturing environments where an unfiltered exhaust system is already in place to capture emissions from extruders, the tool room, and other operations, the ECU1 or ECU2 can be added to vent filtered air directly outside or into the existing plant exhaust system.
