The SSM Series surface stud mount load cellswere designed to be surface mounted withthe load applied through the mounting studfor tension or compression applications. Thematching surface must be flat and at least 2inches in diameter. Eight threaded mountingholes are provided on the bottom surface forfastening down from beneath. These loadcells are manufactured from heat treated 17.4 ph stainless steel, and the sensing elementincorporates bonded foil strain gauges of thehighest quality. They are sealed for protectionagainst most industrial environments.
